The fire and rescue service is one of the most diverse and challenging professions today. It is this diversity that inspires many men and women to enter the service, both as volunteers and career employees. However, this field is not for everyone. More than just a desire to help people, you need courage, dedication, assertiveness, and a willingness to learn new skills and face new challenges. Our service demands its members perform hot, sweaty, dirty, and strenuous work, often in uncertain and hazardous environments. The personal rewards and satisfaction received from the fire and rescue service are often beyond description. We are here and prepared for one reason: to provide service to the people.

In addition to our ‘Combat Firefighters’, we offer many opportunities for community members to join the Fire District. We are active in fire prevention education and preplanning, and we need community members with life experiences and skills that contribute to the safety of our community. Join the Volunteer Fire Service, have fun, meet new friends, and serve your community!

To apply, go to Volunteer Application and Forms, and follow the steps on that page.
