ABOUT OUR STATION
The Sacheen Station was originally built on donated property on Terrace Drive at Sacheen Lake. Due to the increase of calls and a need for better access and egress, property was purchased on Highway 211 and the new existing station was built and completed in 2007.
The station has three drive-through bays and a meeting room. An Engine, Water Tender, Rescue Vehicle, and a Wildland/Medical all terrain apparatus respond out of the station.
Lieutenant Jake Hogue leads the team of four volunteers who respond from this station.
SPOFR VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: South Pend Oreille Fire and Rescue has a new volunteer appreciation program called "SPOFR Volunteer Spotlight". This is a way to recognize our volunteers when you see them in the community, at the grocery store or any local activities. The spotlight for DECEMBER 2022 is on Firefighter Corey Tombs.
