This new engine was purchased from General Fire, Inc. with grant funds from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant award that we received in 2006. The new engine is the first new custom built engine in Pend Oreille Fire District 3 as well as the first new engine in Pend Oreille County in over 30 years. This purchase would not have been possible without the FEMA grant award.
