Columbia Complex Fire

 Wildland Fire Incident: The lightning-caused Columbia complex near Dayton has blackened 154 square miles of wheat fields, brush and forest in southeastern Washington.  This complex consists of six fires and is located near Dayton. Numerous residences, Bluewood ski area, a wind energy site and commercial resources are threatened. This fire remains the highest priority for resources in the Pacific Northwest Region.

Wildland Firefighters: Firefighters Larry Eldridge, Harry Egland, Dean Keck and Chief Mark Havener joined the fire fighting effort.
