SPOFR Goals for 2010

Established by the District's Volunteer Firefighters


1.   Initiate a Health and Wellness program for volunteers

by the end of the year

The volunteers and the district will seek funding and guidance to improve the health and wellness of its members.

The volunteers and the district will develop an annual physical ability evaluation to qualify members for specific duties.

2.   Complete Station 11 by June 1, 2010

Finish work, painting, and landscaping need to be completed.

3.  Complete Station 32 work

Finish paint and details need to be completed in the mezzanine.

4.  Attain 100% completion of monthly apparatus checks in 2010

5.   Implement Zone response program by August

6.   Implement Resident Firefighter program at Station 32 by October

7.   Implement Duty Officer program by March

8.   Recruit and retain 2 new members at Station 32

9.   Maintain an effective district-wide roster of 65 members through effective

recruitment and retention efforts

10. Conduct at least 4 live fire training sessions in 2010

11. Improve graduation recognition for all members that complete course

work successfully.

12. Install a helicopter LZ at Station 32

13. Participate in every Washington State MOBE opportunity offered to the

district

14. Complete Tender 11 build

15. Seek Washington Fire Commissioner Association management award for

2010
